Biography
Sara was born and raised in the beautiful land of California.  It was there that she began her lifetime of musical experience. She played the flute in her middle school Concert Band and her high school Concert and Marching Band, eventually becoming the first chair flute player.
In high school, Sara also started developing her vocal skills. She began taking private voice lesson, sang in her high school Chorus and at Pep Rallies. She was involved in the Drama Club where she performed in such musicals as Cinderella, The Fantasticks, and No, No, Nanette. To finish her high school music experience, she sang at her own graduation in Spring 2003.
At California State University, Fullerton, the best vocal performance school in the western United States according to Classical Singer magazine, Sara began her studies towards a Bachelor of Music in Performance, taking private voice lessons, and studying music theory, music history, vocal diction, and choral conducting, which she used as she conducted two local church choirs. With the University Singers chorus, she had the opportunity to tour with the Boston Pops Orchestra  and perform at the Hollywood Bowl with the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra under the direction of John Williams.
Sara transferred to the University of Massachusetts, Boston after she married a Harvard boy in 2006. She is currently finishing her Bachelor of Arts in Music Education and the Initial Teaching Licensure. Sara sang with the Chamber Singers and was the Student Conductor of the University Chorus. She currently sings with the Spectrum Singers and conducts a children’s choir and a young adult choir at her local church.
